Friends, here is a heartfelt story on inner happiness. Thanks

The ten-year-old Monu was trying to float a paper boat on a big puddle. It had formed all of a sudden in his kitchen garden dripping from a late afternoon drizzle. The rain had stopped just five minutes ago and everything looked so clean and green! Ahhhhhhh...h, what lovely fragrance rose from the moist earth! The child’s cute smile and sparkling eyes told a perfect tale of his emotions.

As the boy lifted his eyes for a moment, he forgot all about his boat. The reason was a stunning rainbow on the sky. Only half was visible. The other half was lost in the clouds. But for this child artist, this was sufficient to evoke his wonder. Because rainbow is called ‘Indra Dhanush’ (The Bow of God)
in Hindi . “Will I be able to see this Bow,” he marvelled, “if I can travel into the clouds right now?”

But before his imagination could transport him to heaven, a dull plop sound called him back to the earth. Oh no! A beetle had fallen into the puddle and was struggling wildly to save itself. However, the more it thrashed, the heavier it got and the more it sank. Monu, with his heart melting in sympathy, at once picked up a leaf fallen from the ‘Peepal’ (Sacred Fig Tree) and performed a quick rescue operation.

As the beetle scuttled to safety, Monu’s smile widened. The rainbow in the sky was only half-visible. But the rainbow inside his heart was already full and radiant with joy
