Include these words in your poem: photograph memory tomorrow |
| Thousands of images stored in my phone of places I've been but more, the places I want to return to, need to return to, will return to. Prints of the photos line my walls-- the USS Missouri, Maui sunsets, waters falling into secret lagoons. Plumaria blossom bouquets of new friends and old. A place that never lets me go, holds me tightly in an inescapable hug. Sure, I can scroll through, remembering events, 'that time when we did this or that.' Refresh a memory not yet gone stale. Scroll and dream of new adventures. Tomorrow's memories reverberate through yesterday's photographs. |
