A poem about the normalized behavior of the males in the human race

You are male,
As such, you are excused, your behavior allowed,
Your shouting, inescapable.
We are passing you on the path,
You shriek and moan,
“Help me!”
As we walk past.
You are not in any danger,
We stare at you as we continue past, bewildered.
And because we gave you a reaction,
You do this again and again,
Even when ignored.
Because you are male, your behavior is excused,
“Boys will be boys”.
How long will it take to understand that,
“Girls are girls”?
We are not objects, nor are we toys.
We are flowers, but not fragile,
So, if we break, beware our fury,
For we will not be put back,
into the same mold that you
forced us into before.
