Not the storm—but what survives it. A journey through pain to growth. |
| After the Rain Learns My Name April doesn’t arrive—it breaks me open, Pouring truth through cracks I tried to hide, Rain writes confessions down my spine, In every drop, a past I can’t outrun, Letting go feels too much like drowning. Still, the storm refuses to leave me empty, Hollows in my chest begin to bloom, Out of ruin, something reckless rises, Washing grief into something almost gentle, Even shattered things can take root again, Reaching for light they once feared, So I stop running— and realize… I was never the storm. I was what survived it. Count-:15 Lines |
