Sleep

A poem I wrote a long time ago just wanted to share. Would love feedback.

Why can't I sleep?
Is it really that strong?
You fill my mind with feeling so deep, my breaths slow and long.
I try to just fall asleep, but you take control of me.
My mind secedes.
I remember your eyes and how the remind me of the summertime.
The thoughts take over like a grey fog.
You're all I can think of.
The chance of sleeping is long gone.
It's feels great but also so wrong,
I hope sleeping always takes this long.
