If your baseball nut is like mine, buy another TV set and put in your room.

My brother is a baseball nut,
When his team is playing he acts like King Tut.
He buys some gum for a player's card
To get that player's autograph, he works real hard.
He yells at the umpires on the TV set,
And when his team is losing, he breaks out in a sweat.
He memorizes batting averages
He complains about the trades
He has nightmares of a players' strike,
He thinks they are overpaid.
So what's an older sister to do
When she wants to watch her show
Buy season's tickets, front row for two
And introduce him to your best friend, Mary Jo.

April is Poetry month. This was yesterday's poem (4-3-26). Late I know but the family 'baseball nut' had my laptop to look up the new MLB rules.
