John is an eminent detective of our small town. I am his assistant, involved with all cases. He never failed. We are waiting for a client in his office, "Catalyst".
A tall man appears. Through his car and the smell of body spray, we understand that a rich man comes here.
"Hello, gentlemen," the man told us. "I'm Mr Lawson." He stops for a while.
"What happened, Mr Lawson?"
"I'm in serious trouble."
"I'll listen to your every word. But tell me all. Don't hide anything." John added, "Before that, meet Mr Roy; he is my friend, philosopher and guide."
"I am a well-established businessman. My favourite, most golden wristwatch was stolen."
"What is the speciality of that watch?" John asked.
"It was given by my wife on the wedding night."
"So it is very special to you. Right?"
"It is connected with huge sweet memories."
"Where is she?"
"She will be on a tour for her research work," Mr Lawson adds. "She will return in three or four days. So I want that watch in two days."
"If it is in your house, I can do it in a day. Otherwise, it is difficult to say anything."
"Any clue?"
"Clue! Clue!"
We can clearly read hegemony in his face.
John said, "Something special!"
"Definitely. It's very special."
"Our old servant, Jash, was missing from that night."
"So he is the culprit."
"I don't reckon so."
"Why?"
"He was working in our house before my birth. He didn't steal a single thing."
John said, "That is a key point." John also added, "So you didn't inform the police!"
"Yes."
"Why did he escape?"
"I don't know."
"He is in his house. Right?"
"Right."
"We, all three, will visit there tomorrow. Sharp 7 AM."

Now John is knocking on the door.
An old man opens the door. He is Jash.
We searched her room thoroughly. The wristwatch remains unfound.
John asked Jash, "Why did you escape from the house?"
"I was in fear.", he is indicating towards Mr Lawson. "He said that he will go to the police. Police don't believe in poor people. So I escaped from there.
Now, we four, including Jash, are entering the Lawson Mansion. It's a gorgeous palace. Inside the house, there is a kitten tent. John stares there. His eyes become brighter. I know him very well. He is getting a definite clue. What is that?
He enters the tent.
Come out with a watch.
"Mr Lawson, is it yours?"
"Yes."
Mr Lawson gives us a cheque. The amount is unbelievably high!
