What Used To Be Still Is

A remembrance in Huitain form (described below the poem)

Remember when we used to talk
'bout things that made us laugh or cry?
And all those times we used to walk
and marvel at the vast blue sky?
Those days before we said goodbye
will stay with me 'til I have gone.
For every soul will one day die,
but I'll still love you 'til that dawn.


Huitain form:
8 lines, 8 syllables per line.
Rhyme scheme = ABABBCBC.
