How Much For A Life?

During the Holocaust a protective pass from Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg meant life

in 1944 Nazi Germany invaded Hungary and Jews were being deported to extermination camps. Recently a pass that saved a human life went for thirteen thousand dollars.
Meanwhile, an emerald was appraised one billion dollars. An antique car went for almost one hundred and fifty million dollars.
My parents were Hungarian Jewish Holocaust survivors so I have a personal reason for mentioning this sale. My dad stood side by side Raoul Wallenberg saving Jews from being deported. My mom was at Auschwitz where her mom and sister were killed.
My dad who passed away in 2005 spoke by phone with Nina Lagergren Wallenberg's half sister in 2002. My dad was told Raoul Wallenberg mentioned my dad in letters home.
This had to been in 1944 because after the Soviets invaded Hungary Wallenberg disappeared. Nobody knows even to this day what happened to him.
