10 Lines Contest - Labour of the Arts 5.5.26

Labour of the Arts

She grabbed her canvas, brushes and paints
Ready with a sparkle in her eyes and a smile on her face
She began to ponder the beauty God graced her with today
The air, natures' voices gave her pause; I am here to work at play.

The sky how magnificant in which God already painted his canvas
Creatures, landscapes, God laboured six days for his workmanship
It was not possible to capture the essences of his art that fell upon her eyes
Something came over her, such emotion, she began to cry.

The color, the sounds, the smells and quietness captivated her senses
Her art would have to wait; today she would enjoy God's labour of the arts.
