48-Hour Challenge: Media Prompt |
It's my life, it's now or never. I've got five minutes to get out of a tunnel. Where do I go? What do I do? I've got to run. I've got to get out of this mess. I've got to do something to change the life I'm living. After all, My heart's like an open highway; I've got to live it my way. All I've got to do is run, run, run. Run to where? I simply don't know. Too many obstacles are in my way. I have to jump over them. This isn't a song made for the brokenhearted. I'm going to make changes in my life for the betterment of my soul. I choose to love the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of my Soul, the one who is going to make me whole. No more worries, no room for doubts. In my own way, I will express the love that I feel. Having my true love by my side, along with Jesus, I believe that the fears I am facing will fade away. I will be healed from the daily encounters that I struggle with; they are going to disappear, and fade away into the darkness. The clouded memories will soon disappear, and joy will appear in the morning, noon, and night. I will satisfy the ugliness and disappointments tormenting me daily, by replacing them with a smile, not by sadness. The happiness I seek will not be blocked by negativity. I choose to be happy. Whether you accept that or not is up to you. Don't ruin my reasons for loving someone for who they are. Be glad that I've found my match. Don't destroy what is true for me. I wouldn't do that to you. This is my life, don't take it away from me. I know that I'm doing my best. There's only one who has the credentials to do that, and that is only God. Don't judge me. God knows what's in my heart. Don't let the disability of the goodness of my character be destroyed. I've got the strength to overcome what's ailing me. It's my life, and it's your life. We don't have to run. We can have a good life, but don't allow yourself to doubt your abilities. Don't give up on yourself. We can all do this. Believe, Believe, Believe. 62 Lines Written by Anna Marie Carlson Preferred Author Friday, May 8, 2026 |
