A poignant tribute to a mother’s resilient love blooming through storms

Hands That Never Quit

A mother’s love
is not always soft—
sometimes it is survival
with tired eyes
and trembling hands.

Sometimes it looks like
crying in silence
so the children never hear
how close the world came
to breaking her.

Sometimes it is empty pockets,
sleepless nights,
prayers whispered at ceilings
that never seemed to answer fast enough.

But still—
she rises.

Still, she remembers
every favorite song,
every birthday candle,
every wound her children tried to hide.

A mother carries people
long after they stop
letting her hold their hand.

And even when her heart
has been bruised by distance,
misunderstood by those she fought for,
or left aching in quiet rooms—
she still loves.

Because mothers are strange magic.
They bloom in storms.
They break quietly.
They keep going loudly.

And if no one says it today—
the world is softer
because you stayed
when it would’ve been easier
to disappear.
