The loves of God and nation,
Freedom's role, and family.
The awesome celebration
Of fighting, sans the infamy. 
On this day, folks praise the glory,
Recall the troops who've fallen.
The honored lives who shaped the story
Of wartime's service callin'.
The gritty missions, and great battles;
The mighty forces under fire.
The cognizance that stirs and rattles.
Hearty souls of strength, desire.
Praise their courage, timely actions.
God duly bless our finest heroes.
Well-trained fighters' interactions -
Battling the wicked throes.
Enemies do storm and lurk;
Forces fighting, not a goner.
Unified in spirit, teamwork,
Excellence and fiery honor.
Praise these men and women's lives,
Their sacrifice, a doubtless hero's.
The newness of our nation thrives;
Action's calling, on their toes.
