Ethereal Existence

Has the word soul been twisted to mean something less?

The word soul, to me, has been overused and possibly even abused. We have soul food, soul music, a person can be a kind soul, something can be deep in the soul, a comment or a campaign can be described as having a soul of the thing, soul art, the list goes on....

What I have is an ethereal eternal essence that is a spark of universal consciousness. It is, amongst other things, immortal; unbound to just one lifetime.

The ethereal spark is part of the universal web of consciousness linked to all living things and the cosmos. It is the core of reincarnation evolving to higher states of awareness, fulfilling spiritual needs and learning cosmic lessons. It is seen as having a unique purpose; aligning life choices with that purpose is key to spiritual progress.

I do have a soul, if that is the term you must use. It is a dynamic, evolving and deeply connected aspect of my existence.

The spark of the Divine in me recognizes and honors the spark within you. May we both evolve on our journeys.
