Curse of the eldest child

My experiences and thoughts as the "eldest".

The eldest child.

In a family, the eldest is part of the inside pillars that supports the foundation of the family.
It isn't that much necessary for others. But it does.

The eldest.

The one who's born first among siblings.
The one who's assigned expectations earlier than anyone else.
The one who's expected to get their life together.
The one who matured early, because they had no one to rely on.

But, even with all of that.. he/she still gets neglected.

It's like whatever they did—

—it was never enough.
