A poem about those who try to change to fit in. |
| Some people believe, they need to change in order to fit in. To that, I say, we are not chameleons. Chameleons are naturals, able to blend with their surroundings, and I admire them, for this trait. But we are something different, when we try to blend in, it’s like wearing a bad suit, just feels weird. Instead, we are wolves, better in packs of our own kind. Or we are crabs and anemones, different things, together strong. So if you want new friends, be the wolf, the crab, or the anemone. Not the chameleon. |
