Via the Lord We Serve |
INTRO As part of God’s Army, we may not forget the veterans of all nations who serve and deal with the aftermath of their actions daily. Whether you are experiencing trauma because of your work domestically or abroad, or just feel that you have been busy serving, these thoughts are for you. You matter! VULNERABILITY Despite the call to serve and to be part of a larger whole, in the end we are all alone and vulnerable. As human beings, it is inevitable we experience loss, pain, and suffering and are affected by comrades and the system. VOWS We say our prayers, respect our vows, and work to better ourselves, our nation, or the group we are part of. We may be lucky, but we also may be unlucky. We have to move on in life and stay healthy in mind, body, and spirit. VIA FAITH Our faith has to be at the core of what we do and who we are. In the eyes of the Lord, we are all worthy, and we pray we may follow in line of our footprints. We serve via the Lord Jesus Christ. CLOSE Veterans do matter while serving. We are all vulnerable human beings trying to stay safe via Jesus. May God be with our loved ones and us, now and later. WC:220 |
