A moving poetry collection capturing the raw journey of healing, survival, and hope.

At Last, My Name in Print

For years, I carried stories
tucked inside my heart,
gathering words like wildflowers
and stitching them into art.

There were days I nearly quit,
nights I questioned every line,
wondering if the dreams I held
would ever truly shine.

I faced rejection, doubt, and fear,
watched hope flicker and bend,
but somewhere deep within my soul
I knew I couldn’t let it end.

So page by page and tear by tear,
I built what I believed,
holding tight to whispered faith
when no one else could see.

And now these words no longer hide
inside a dusty drawer.
They’ve found their wings, they’ve found their voice,
they’ve opened up a door.

My name now rests upon a book,
a dream become reality,
proof that perseverance can
outlast uncertainty.

Today I hold Survival In Ink
and smile through grateful tears.
A collection born from pain and hope,
from courage through the years.

The journey wasn’t always easy,
but every step was worth the climb.
For now my story lives in print—
my survival, sealed in ink and time.
