Friends in a discussion on how to cook corn (36 lines)

A fight
An argument
The way to make corn right
Would there be a settlement?

Each on their own would prove
Their methods best
For that they’d have to move
North, east, south and west

Lina went north
To the smithies of Glamengutter
To cook in the fjord
With iron taste and sooty butter

Joe travelled east
Where the dragons fight
And asked the beast
Would you flame my corn just right?

Grey chose south
Beyond the fields of wheat
He took a giant mirror out
And the sun for him, was the heat

Last there was Varad
He cooked his in the west
Dropped it on the rocket’s launchpad
To put his theory to the test

But when they returned to the fire
They very soon learned
Grey’s one had fallen in the mire
The others were burnt

Then they learned something special
They tried it another time
The corn seemed so normal
But it turned out perfectly fine

Their bodies worn
It would stay with them forever
The best corn,
Is the one you make together
