40 Line Poem - Song

Under pressure hearing about war,
Buildings are falling everywhere.
It's a disgrace to the human race.
Babies crying through the night,
Seeing their faces filled with fright.
There's no delight in seeing their pain,
There's no worth in promise or dignity.
I want no more wars,
I want only peace.

There's no reason behind
the season. Many soldiers
are killed, not something I'm
Thrilled about. So many young men
Skilled workers who haven't had a
Chance to live their lives. They've
been relieved of their duties now,
But they're on their way to a
Better place. They've gone to be
With our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. They won't have to suffer,
They will be fully restored.
They have laid down their lives.
Protecting us. Don't forget about
Our servicemen. They've been loyal
To the core. They should be remembered
For their bravery and courage to fight
Our enemies. Our enemies want to do us
Harm by killing innocent people who
Didn't have a chance to pursue their
Talents. We will miss them, that's for
Sure. I am under pressure seeing them
Being destroyed by our enemies, buildings
Falling due to their bombing. I'm
Under pressure, saving myself from the day
Today. I want to live a long life, not
Being afraid to walk down the streets,
Being attacked by someone for
No other reason than just the thrill
Of it. They don't realize who I really am.
No more wars. Let there be peace.
