You need not believe in heaven, But know there is a hell

You need not believe in heaven
But know there is a hell
When the raven calls a name this night
You better listen well

In death there comes a madness
For what is left behind
A lust for flesh and feeling
Blood envy, well defined

When walking through death’s garden
The chill upon your back
Are the eyes of hell’s own minions
Flying silent wings of black

A cold and chiseled headstone
Means nothing to the dead
But the wrath of desecration
Is a curse upon your head

Step lightly on the fresh graves
Death lingers in the dirt
Penetrating exposed flesh
As it patiently perverts

You think that death is final
As it feeds the living’s hate
Opening the gates of hell
As it slowly strangulates

We’ve failed the test of sanctity
Satan’s time has finally come
The fight of light and darkness
Armageddon has begun

Listen in the graveyard
As the dead will laugh at you
Knowing that their time is nigh’
And there’s nothing you can do....
