Summertime

48 hr challenge for July 3

Summertime started hot and humid
the rhythm of the music
was used by a one year old
to beat up her chair with the spoons
that were supposed to feed her.

I cherish these moments, as they pass by quick
just as quick as Summertime passes
and fall will be around the corner again.

Spending time in an easier pace
no square eyes from too much screen reading
of important files; rest a bit
and grab a couple of spoons myself
to add to the rhythm

and we have fun; together,
golden moments that will stay as a forever memory.
