This is a Shakespearean sonnet about America. |
| Deep, far, across the red white and blue sea. A people peculiar and with hope. That American? You're looking at me. Home of the hot dog, and the rope-a-dope. Merchant, merchant, do you have any jets? The kind that come with those ninja courses? You know, football's on. Are you taking bets? Cool down! My check's clearing! Hold your horses! Home of Welfare reform. The policy That changed the lives of so many at home. It certainly worked for my family. Always remember to work when in Rome. I live in America and love it. Freedom is here. There's nothing above it. |
