When the world grows loud and the sky turns gray,
Keep me safe in your heart until the storm
gives way.
Tuck my name between your hopes,
Where love is stronger than what
life broke.

If distance steals the touch of my hand,
Let my spirit beside you quietly stand.
I'll be the whisper in the evening breeze,
The gentle comfort carried through
the trees.

When your tears fall without a sound,
Know my love is still around.
