The overwhelming grief of losing one of my children. |
| Words are not enough Emotions so painful its as if a jolt of electricity scorch's the soul. Time is supposed to dull it, to put it in perspective. Yet there is no perspective where loss makes sense. The natural order of things is, the old go before the young. Parents before children. Mothers should never lose a child. No matter the age they are still a mothers child. Youth is a perspective, seen from older eyes. 36 seems old, from a youthful point of view. Yet looking at 36 from 50... 36 it is too young to leave the world behind. Loss, grief, take all light and joy. Leaving pain, hurt and tears. Focus on the positive remember the ones that remain. Even so there is still a missing piece an empty spot where they should be. Everyone expects you to be strong. To keep moving on and yet your soul is torn asunder. In the day stand strong, cry at night. Keep moving forward. Try to remember, what they would want. Keeping the pain for the empty rooms they once occupied. |
