"Hey!", I said.
"Hi!", he replied.

"Remember that day?" I asked him.
"Which one?", he wondered.

"The one with the rain", I smiled.
"Oh, that day!", he laughed.

"You were so brave... ", I whispered.
"You made me feel it.", John confessed.

"And the stars?", I gazed upward.
"They always shone for us.", he agreed.

"We fight sometimes", l mused.
"But we always find our way.", John reassured.

"It's not always easy.", I sighed.
"But it's worth it.", he declared.

"You mean that?", I questioned.
"More than you know.", he whispered back.

"I love you.", she finally told him.
"And I love you, too.", John answered, holding me closer to him.
