I’ll sink or swim

.
.
.
It’s not that there’s
too much salt in the sea.
There’s just not enough water:

As I stand upon the rocks, I see
the ocean’s swell surrounding me.
It’s hard for me to stay on track
when I can’t go forward,
I must step back.

Back

I can’t go back, my past is done,
it’s in the bag, it’s why I run.

I can’t relive the misery.

I’ll take my chance, I’ll part the sea,
The ocean's swell surrounding me.

I’ll dive right in, I’ll sink or swim,
at least I’ll know, I tried again.

At least I’ll know, I chose my end.
But I’ve been told that life begins
with Choices.
