A man makes several hard choices |
| Tales told Through life alone I chose to tread though, truth be known, I'd hoped to wed. But circumstance illumed my path, no mere mischance incurred my wrath. The ones in power - a vicious lot - scheme every hour, care not a jot if those they hate have child or wife - they'll share grim fate and lose their life. Such evil deeds I could not bear, so I indeed an oath did swear. Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori! verily I've chosen best: my death will tell my story. [LC: 12] Prompt / Form Note ▶︎ |
