As the years run quickly by, more and more seems to be done in a 12-month period of time.

This year it started in the freeze,
a winter's cold, that could not stop.
Removing peace by such degrees,
what wonder! Stayed on cold dirt's top!

The freeze it stayed through Febrero's Love.
Those frosty morns of chocolate bites.
By blankets wrapped, I could not move.
The warmth they shared bid, "Pull me tight!"

Th'Last Sunday of the Love month hurt.
A nether stone caused life to halt.
The daily pain felt worse than dirt.
My life those days bore pure gestalt.

The early days of March, a blur,
until the doctor took the stone.
The induced sleep before I'd stir
gave such relief from constant groan.

Recovery caused hope though slow,
but pain removed brought great relief.
I slept each night to fully know
a gift of life from awful grief.

Then, April gave a glimpse of Home
as one friend's life changed night to day.
Salvation's touch to her had come.
Her growth is still for what I pray.

In May the school year finished for
all student's, who had sights on play.
but daughter dearest saw much more,
and prepped her for a trip away.

When June arrived, 'twas one long trip
to Germany for five long weeks.
She saw the church, where nailed the slip
of paper for great Wisdom's seek.

This Wittenberg Cathedral bears
bronze doors with 95 Theses inscribed.
Upon the Lord we roll our cares.
His grievances were well described.

In Bochum saw a play on skates
with all the actors moving fast.
The
Starlight Express came never late.
As history, it's in the past.

The plane flight home looked funny quite.
'Twas long. Nine hours from A to B,
but on the paper quite a sight.
Apparently, they flew just three.

Near half the year still lies ahead,
and what will be the way it goes?
Those daily papers not yet read.
What presents under the tree will show?
