Daily prompts to inspire your blogging endeavors.

FAQ: What do I blog about for the "Fun Facts" and "Quotes" prompts? ▶︎

With the exception the Debate Day contests (and then, only if you're competing), the daily prompts - including the "Fun Facts" and "Quotes" - are just creative launchpads! There are no strict rules or required formats; you can take them in whatever direction inspires you that day. But if you do get stuck, here are a few fun ways you might approach them:

For "Fun Fact" Prompts:
Personal Angle: Share a related story or memory from your own life.
Opinion/Rant: Offer a funny, hot take, or passionate reaction to the fact.
Fiction/Storytelling: Use the fact as the premise or background lore for a short story or piece of flash fiction.
Deep Dive: Share why you find the fact interesting or dive deeper into the history/science behind it.

For "Quote" Prompts:
Reflection: Discuss what the quote means to you, or share a time in your life when those words proved true (or totally wrong!).
Counter-Argument: Agree or disagree with the quote’s message and explain why.
Dialogue/Character: Write a scene or dialogue where a fictional character embodies or wrestles with the message of the quote.
Creative Interpretation: Use the theme of the quote as the central premise for a essay, poem, or vignette.

Ultimately, as long as the prompt inspires your post in some small way, you’re doing it right. Have fun with it!
