The Iran War - America’s Valor Tested

The Mideast conflict pushing all to seek peace and end this costly war - a poem.

The dreams, spirit, and depth
Of America's military,
Their naval vessels and high tech aircraft
Assembled in the Gulf region
And ambitiously deployed.
The global equalizer, the U.S. emmisaries
For peace, liberty and free trade,
Bombing those grave and heinous authors
Of forty seven years of terror;
The mullahs bloodied
And their infrastructure battered -
A regional hammering point
For those amoral, maddening beasts,
And their decrepit fortifications
For anti-Israeli violence and vehemence.

President Obama's funding plan
Striven toward belief in the unfettered arrogance
Of the Iranian radicals.
The raging Islamic actors
Displaying reckless resolve throughout -
The Trump administration threatening
And punishing the IRGC
To the point of no return,
To end the drawn out exchange -

A bold and historic drama unfolding.
Culpability in the offing
For the extremist mullahs,
Leading to a global economic recovery,
And institutional vibrancy
For worldwide extractions
Of chip, mineral, oil, natural gas,
And medicinal ingredients -

The close of this magnificent specimen:
The death and extinction
Of any resumption
Of the caliphate's despicable ruling cauldron -
That punitive menace which embodies
Resource limits,
Geopolitical hate,
And suicidal ideation.
The majestic host of freedom's starlight
Atop the mountaintop
Positioning Planet Earth
On the blue-green cloud line,
In that worldwide,
Constructive,
And cultivated enterprise.
With the midterms looming in the U.S.,
The flippant talks and executed hammering
Marking a perilous juncture
In the voluntary Mideast conflict
And worldwide harangue...

With no end in sight for the soaring
And high gas prices,
And the U.S. suckered into another lengthy
Middle East debacle with no clear
Or permanent objective,
America and its voting republic feeling
Pinched and dissatisfied;
The lowest approval ratings
Of any U.S. president in history vehemently
Broadcasting the public's impudence
And disdain for what is deemed
A fruitless conflict abroad.

Meanwhile, Trump credits
Not allowing Iran to have a nuclear weapon
As the reason for hurling the economy
Into chaos and wounding
Americans in the pocketbook;

The docket for parlaying this poor
And tired, old rhetoric
Into historic midterm wins
While shielding this U.S, president
From knowing foreign policy tragedies
Like this requires adding a pulse
To the American ticket buyer;

One failed negotiation after another
Must force the hands of the Israelis
To speak proudly on behalf of our President -
For Prime Minister Netanyahu
To abstain from calling for an invasion
Of a sovereign nation despite its terrorist ties
And support - and to establish a layer of
Of wise restraint in admonishing Trump
For his diplomatic
And peace-delivering stance;

Which is the right decision
For a highly advanced society and nation -

One cannot simply invade or demolish
A foreign adversary for no apparent reason
And without justification -
Without international agreement
By the entire planetary stronghold;

And all the Middle East actors
In that faulty, unstable and violent region
Have interconnected, neighborly,
Social, and political ties to Iran,
And will go down supporting
The fascist regime to the end...

Rather than beg for their destruction
And removal from the planet
Despite America's and Israel's asking!!
