Ode to life

I have a big heart,
And I can’t take it apart.
lack all control over life.
I wish I wrote the way I thought.
Worry too much, self taught.

I’d write to the point of suffocation,
Afraid I won’t find anyone in isolation.
As deeply as I love, I’ll never be a wife.
I’d write myself until I lose my peace of mind,
To shed the burdens passed down far behind.

Despite the heartbreaks, the beauty of life is shown.
Not only will these struggles atone.
But through the sharpest strife.
I’ll face the seeds that I have sown.
To finally find a rhythm of my own.
