A Pet Makes a Point

Drabble prompt 31: If hamsters/ guinea pigs/ gerbils used bows and arrows.

While watering the philodendron, I felt a pang in my shoulder. It eased a bit when I stood still, but picked up when I moved. I wasn't wearing a shirt, so I headed for the mirror and twisted my head for a better look. And there it was. A tiny arrow. And it even had little feathers at the tail end.

I headed back to the philodendron and searched for who knows what. And I'll be darned if another arrow didn't hit me in the other shoulder, but my pet hamster was aiming yet another one straight at my nose.
