Victor Frankenstein — Status Update

Victor Frankenstein discovers his monster has mastered social media, and cancelled him.

Victor Frankenstein considered himself a genius, so creating life seemed merely the next logical step.

His creature disagreed.

“Why did you make me?” he asked.

“Ask something less predictable,” Victor snapped.

The creature picked up Victor’s phone.

Minutes later, he posted a selfie.

Comments exploded. Followers multiplied. Overnight, the creature became an online sensation while Victor’s laboratory account gained three new followers, all bots.

By breakfast, the creature had sponsored deals, fan merchandise, and a podcast.

Victor stormed into the kitchen.

“You are destroying my reputation!”

The creature smiled.

“No, Victor. Your reputation was already terrible.”

Then he blocked him.
