“Insatiable” is a dark, introspective poem about gluttony and an endless hunger. |
I like to eat until I’m full, maybe I indulge in more than I should. Sometimes I wish I wouldn’t.. yet I eat until I’m full. The flavor i soon begin to savor Indulging myself once more into This gluttonous flavor. I eat.. Until I’m full. My hunger has no bounds For now i see why gluttony is A sin that I have partaken in. I shall repent Yet my hunger will win. I’m oblivious of the greed That has taken over me. I’ve been full for years on end, But yet I eat until I’m full. I wish my cursed body wouldn’t Partake in the greedful acts I make I mustn’t eat anymore. I’ve grown full countless of times. Yet I don’t know why, I eat until I’m full. Please forsaken me of this curse I fear upon the worst. If I continue down this path Im sure I will find the vulture. Forming a circle, Waiting to devour me until Im no longer… Full. |
