Angel In Disguise

It has been a long time,
Since we both heard from each other.
Though that is the case,
One thing I can assure,
That I have not forgotten you...

Deep inside of this lonely me,
I would always remember you.
For I have kept within my heart,
The sweet memory of your voice
And the times when I would still talk to you.

I don't know the true reasons
On why thoughts of you make me smile
Or how you make my heart jump.
It's as if I can see you there,
Standing and looking straight at my eyes.

You were a stranger and so do I.
We haven't seen face to face
Either known really each other.
"We were strangers..." like that song goes,
Strangers to friends who met by chance?

To come across you is a blessing,
It lets me know and makes me feel,
That God loves me,
For He has given me a gift:
To have you as a friend...
