Letting go and letting God lead me -

LETTING GO, LETTING GOD

I'm letting go of other plans;
Need to live the way God intended.
Trying to do what's right for me -
Read the Word as God recommended.

There are lilies of the field
That grow beautifull and tall
Without the help of mortals like me
As He leads me I cannot fall!

There are many dreams
To live if we but try.
Letting go and letting God
Will surely get me by!

I'm letting God
Take over from now on!
No more tears and heartaches
As He carries me along.

With Him all things are possible
All I need to do for him is pray;
He will guide me safely through
Whatever comes my way -

I will follow Him, and trust in Him
There's nothing more to say
I will thank Him for my blessings
Starting with today!
