For the friend who is always there.

For my travel buddy,
my globetrotting friend;
We've seen it all together -
Across the ocean, around the bend.

For the one I'll always laugh with
(Though I know you've seen me cry);
We'll make it through, day-to-day,
trying to slow the time that flies.

For my friend, so full of intellect,
"Let me copy when you're through!"
I'm sorry I'm so lazy, but -
I couldn't have done it without you.

For you, my constant strength and trust,
I hope I've been yours as well;
Through both times so filled with joyfulness
and times too dark to tell.

For that hope which you provided
to give light along the way -
The reasons which first drew me to you
