THANKS, GOD!

Thanks, God - for all you've done
To make my life a happy one;
For bringing my children safely home,
For giving me some time - alone.

Thanks for giving me true friends,
Who are there until my story ends.
Thanks for giving me life another day
And for helping my son along his way.

Thank you for the love of my family,
They mean all the world to me.
Thank you for teaching me to forgive
And knowing how to live and let live.

Thanks for guiding me through the day
And not getting hurt along the way;
By what other people may do or say -
It's not up to me to make them pay.

Thank you for my home in the wood
Where nature lives, and it is good.
To the Garden of Eden it can compare,
I find peace and happiness there.

Thanks for giving me a song
To help me when things go wrong;
Thanks for listening to my prayer,
Thanks for keeping me in your care.

Bless all who enter here,
May their lives be filled with cheer
So, goodnight, God and friends alike
All is well with us tonight.
