A poem dedicated to a friend that's gone. We sorely miss you, H... |
Your Eyes Unfathomable A dynasty of dandelions Gently floating above the endless labyrinth of obscurity An orchestra of emerald daggers Piercing my fingers ruthlessly But you were born to love and not hate Lacklustre Two somber oysters As the silver armoire embraced a wreath of orchids and hydrangeas An empty chaos of reflections Your elfin figure shivering in the gloaming But you were born to pray on the trampoline of sunlight Opaque Mischievous haze of simplicity A drunken Bacchus broke into a curious directionless run Peals of laughter Echoing through the amethysts and rhododendrons And the tranquil storm humbly bows before you For you were born to spin the golden yarn of quintessence Words from imagination alphabet: dynasty, dandelions, labyrinth, armoire, Bacchus, quintessence, amethyst, rhododendron, gloaming, trampoline |
