A poetic play on metaphors and similies

With his head in the clouds
And his feet on the ground
He's certainly the tallest
Fella around.

With his nose to the grindstone
His hands on the wheel
You'll be putty in his fingers
If he cooks you a meal.

Give him an inch
And he'll take a mile
So watch out girls
Beware of his smile.

As cool as a cucumber
As pleased as punch
He'll leave you high and dry
When it comes to the crunch.

He'll plead with the eyes
Of a cute puppy-dog
But make sure it's a dead horse
He's about to flog.

Now remember ladies
If you want to stay ahead
Be as bright as a button
Stay out of his bed !
