Here I am lost on an abandoned road
With abandoned love and an abandoned past.
Here I am, here I am
Remembering who laughed last.

On an abandoned road, so desolate and so lost
With a heart full of pain, and sadness, too
Thinking back, it never could have been,
Never could have been, just simply you

For me, you were all wrong
And never were simply "the one"
You never completed my heart
But others, there were none

For you, there were far too many to count
And you only thought of you
So here I am, alone and lost
Deserted, just like the others, too.
