Mr. Rogers

He reached inside our hearts
and the hearts of our kids,
just as he reached inside
to put that sweater on of his.

Our neighborhood today
has lost a best friend.
The gentle man we knew
sadly met his end.

Today he passed away,
but he will find a place,
as all of heaven's angels
welcome Mr. Rogers' face.

He will be missed.
