This is a copyrighted poem that i wrote for our Soldiers over seas and their families.

Day In Day Out


As time goes on,
The days grow longer...
Awaiting the day my Soldier will come home.
Day In...
Day Out...
I have to wonder are you ok?
I see on the news,
As other families do,
The progress you are making....
The lives both sides are taking.
It doesn't seem fair.
Sometimes the images on the news make me stop
in my tracks and stare.
Leaveing me with wonder
With unanswered questions and prayers.
My heart goes out..
To the Soldiers and their Families
Each Day I wonder...
Each Day I pray...
And only hope that soon one day,
You'll come home
And be here to stay.
To all the Soldiers...
And their families too,
There is only one thing...
That is left to say...,
