A boy asks his Mother about his dad.

"Mom Where Is My Dad"

Mommy tell me where is my Dad.
Will I ever see him while I'm a Lad.
Did not he want to have a little boy.
Why did he take away my only joy.

Most friends talk about their Dads.
When they do Mom it makes me sad.
I'd love to ride in a boat and go fishing.
Maybe he'd come home I was wishing.

You try to give me all the love I need.
Working so hard to give things to me.
Sometimes a boy needs other things.
Like instead of all those video games.

Going hiking and camping overnight.
Sit by a campfire and gaze at its light.
I know what I hope for I will never see.
What I am wanting is all hopelessly.

Mom no one could ever take your place.
I can't understand why Dad did not stay.
Dad if you ever read this poem I've written.
Here's all my love you have been missing.
