A poem about trying to do my best but not suceeding

Wondering hopeless
rendering all sense of life
giving everything

Trying my hardest to fail
putting my heart on my sleeve

Like a bird flying
chance to flail against the wind
petrified by tears

Using my own wings to fly
farther away from my dreams

Closer everyday
to the things I miss the most
drowning in night sky

I am scared to risk it all
ending on the first night's note
