TV Screen

They stare at it,
unblinking,
Their faces are blank,
no sign of thinking,
Sitting, watching,
completely still,
As the glowing screen,
controls their minds,
Dictates the images,
that flow into their brains,
Unceasingly until,
like waking from a dream,
Someone pushes the button,
the screen goes blank,
As they start to come alive,
their roles reversed.
