Little Book

A young girl finds God's love.

Lucy, a child, battered and blue
Hated, rejected- O what to do?
Starving for love, abused instead,
How heavy the burden as
She lay in bed.

Who will love me
For who I am?
Only the God of Abraham.

But Lord where are you?
How will I learn?
How will you heal me
And make me yearn?

Lo and behold God heard her prayer,
And sent His Word through
Christians who care.

God sent his word through a Little Book,
And all it's words to her heart she took.
Lucy now has a friend in her heart,
To fill it with love, and in life take part.
