Apologize apologize apologize
You turn away then roll your eyes
I HATE YOU
I hate you more everyday
You can’t just FORGIVE ME
Well that’s “okay”
But I’m not going away
Because I LOVE YOU
It’s not something I can explain
You have wronged me so many times
hurt me bad and I never complained
but I still think of you late at night
and think
I have to make this right
Why do I want this absolution so bad?
It’s just I can’t stop the feelings
and the dreams, and it’s sad
to know we’ll never make it
past because YOU WON’T CHANGE
you won’t look me in the eye
you keep pushing me away
and I’m cornered
what I mean I can’t say
because whatever I say
MEANS NOTHING TO YOU
but the summer is long
I have plenty of time
to change your mind
