a poem, give men their due |
| im sure we all know the poem by Byron,..its a classic, but, the next came to me one day while the first was ricocheting around in my head:o) m By Byron she walks in beauty, like the night......... balance removed due to copywright concerns. by me He Walks he walks in thunder, like the gods of lightening bolts and stormy skies, and all thats man of strength and power beams out from all his countenance so exposed by lightening flash which stormy skies to us display. the darkened hue, the cloudy day could only serve to enhance the thickness of his crown or play the craigs upon his face, where mind so busily muses strength and wisdom are here at home. and on that chin and strength of nose so rugged, so strong, so confident, the face that gives, the faithfullness, that tell of days in giving spent, a courage for all to share, a soul whos care is never spent.
